Three kinds of retainers, one goal
- Clear retainers: thin, invisible trays molded to your finished smile. The most popular choice.
- Hawley retainers: the classic wire-and-acrylic design. Durable, adjustable and repairable.
- Permanent (bonded) retainers: a slim wire fixed behind the front teeth. Zero effort, always working.
Retainers after braces, and years later
Wear is typically full-time for a short period, then nights only. Even if you finished braces decades ago (or somewhere else), we can replace lost retainers, bond a permanent wire, or make a fresh set from a quick digital scan. If your teeth have already shifted, a short round of aligners can bring them back before we retain them.

Frequently asked questions
How long do I have to wear a retainer?
As long as you want straight teeth. The good news: after the first months it is usually nights only, and it becomes as routine as brushing.
My retainer broke or got lost. What now?
Call or text us. In-house scanning and 3D printing mean fast replacements, no goopy impressions.
I had braces years ago and my teeth shifted. Can you fix it?
Yes. Retreatment with aligners is often quick, and we finish with a retainer plan that keeps it fixed this time.
